UNIPORT final year student commits suicide after concluding his project

Prince Digbani, a final year student of University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) who lived off-campus apartment in Aluu, has reportedly committed suicide on Monday November 25.

Digbani, a student of the department of electrical engineering first threatened suicide when he told his friends that “he doesn’t feel fulfilled”.

A suicidal post shared on his WhatsApp status and his refusal to pick his calls made friends rush down to his place.

He was found convulsing on the floor after his friends broke his door to gain entrance. He was given red oil to drink all to no avail as he was pronounced dead at Lulu-Briggs medical centre.

It was confirmed at the hospital where he was rushed to that he took a poisonous substance.

His corpse was is currently lying at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital Mortuary.
