A lady has roped two UNILORIN lecturers, Dr. Adebimpe Raheem and Prof. Lanre Ajibade, in a sex for grades scandal, claiming they have had sex with hundreds of girls.
The lady made this known in reaction to a BBC documentary which exposed a UNILAG lecturer, Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu, of sexually harassing female students.
The lady identified on Twitter as Queen bee wrote:
“Dr. Adebimpe Raheem and Prof. Lanre Ajibade are lecturers of Geography dept, in the University of Ilorin,Ilorin Kwara State, they sleep with students in exchange for good grades, they threaten we girls with extra year. They have slept with 100s of girls.
“Please, i appreciate ur retweets, it’s a relief that my voice is being heard, I’m healing cos i see people ready to fight for me, but please i would have to pull out, i am being threatened, my life is in danger, they are coming for me. Thank you all.
“Someone shared this status of her friend with me who finished from this same department. They are happy these men are being exposed finally.
A twitter user, Awwal Abdulnasir suggested that the sex for grades allegations should be heard from the actual victims themselves.
“I think its only fair that the victims themselves place such allegations not someone else. That is not to say such things dont happen but let it be heard from the victims and with evidence to avoid tarnishing peoples images baselessly without facts”, he wrote.
In response, the lady stated that she is among the victims in the sex for grades scandal in UNILORIN.
“I am a victim, this has been killing me,i knw all other victims, bt they don’t want to come out, they collect our phones when they invite us to their offices. If this is a lie, let thunder fire me. This is why we don’t come out to talk, i tried to & i was threatened”, she wrote.
