Thirteen kids have died, and more than 40 others were harmed in a panic that happened as they left school in western Kenya today.
“We have lost 13 youngsters right now we have others in the emergency clinic with wounds,” David Kabena, the police boss in the town of Kakamega, told correspondents.
The occurrence occurred at around 5:00 pm when frenzy broke out as the pupils returned home for the day from Kakamega Primary school. The purpose behind the rush is as yet vague.
“We have incited an examination to set up what precisely occurred,” Kabena said.
Kenya Red Cross said on Twitter that emergency administrations were reacting to a “fatal rush” at the school.
