Ronaldo faces 2-year match ban after Juventus’ 1-0 win over AC Milan
Juventus star player, Cristiano Ronaldo faces a 2-year match ban for leaving the stadium before the end of a Serie A game against AC Milan.
The game which ended 1-0 saw Ronaldo get substituted with Paul Dybala who came on to score the lone goal.
The decision by manager Maurizio Sarri to have him substituted didn’t sit well with Ronaldo who mumbled some words at him before heading for the tunnel.
Report says Ronaldo left the Allianz Stadium before the match ended and in the 87th minute.
Reacting to the development, former Italian footballer, Antonio Cassano, stated that Ronaldo could be facing a two-year ban.
“Did he leave before the end of the game?” Cassano asked on the Italian television show, Tiki-Taka.
“You can’t do that because there is an anti-doping control.
“I had to go back to the stadium urgently to avoid a two-year ban.”
