Robert Mugabe’s body arrives Zimbabwe from Singapore (Photos)
The remains of former president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, has arrived his country from Singapore.
Mugabe was scheduled to be buried last Sunday but got postponed due to a dispute among his family members.
According to his nephew, Leo Mugabe, who is also the family’s spokesperson, his late uncle will be buried in a traditional way because he was a chief.
Mugabe was announced dead in the early hours of Friday, 6th of September. Before his death at age 95, he had served as the country’s longest serving president.
The arrival of his remains at the airport was met with a large crowd gathered with many wearing T-shirts bearing his face.
Among those present at the airport are his wife Grace and Zimbabwean Vice President Kembo Mohadi.
