The refusal of security agents to grant them access into the premises of the Olowu’s palace
infuriated the youths as they chanted repeatedly on top of their voices: “End SARS!”
They attacked a policeman while making efforts to disperse the protesters.
Consequent upon this, other policemen and operatives of the Nigeria Security
and Civil Defence Corps shot into the air to send away the protesters.
People scampered to safety as the security agents fired gunshots intermittently.
Locals condemned the Ogun youths for taking their protest to an event that has nothing to do with their agitation.
