OPINION:Lingering Violence: Is it possible to have free and fair election in Ondo State?
I will like to emphatically state here that the lingering violence in Ondo State will definitely hinder free and fair election in the state.
Fact findings shows that at least five persons died in recent weeks during political violence. Members are using guns to pursue members of rival political parties and further berated the use of students’ shuttle buses for election campaigns.
We all forget that government projects are for the benefit of the people. Why can’t our politicians know that there is life after office.
Our youth should stop wasting their lives, all in the name of election violence. Life is precious than gold and silver. Violence can never lead to any good results.
It is pertinent for all our politicians to see free and fair as a watchword before, during and after election.
God bless Ondo State.
