One will be sworn in -Oshiomole vows as Supreme court cancels David Lyon’s election
National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomole, has reacted to the Supreme Court’s judgment in Bayelsa state
Earlier yesterday the Supreme Court of Nigeria reversed the election of David Lyon and his running mate.

The judgement came barely 24 hours to his inauguration.
A five man panel of the apex court presided by Justice Mary Peter-Odili
nullified the election of Lyon on the grounds that his deputy presented false
information to INEC because of being running
The Supreme court ordered INEC to issue fresh certificates to the candidates of the
party with the next highest votes which are the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidates.
Reacting to the judgement at a media briefing in Abuja, Adams Oshiomole said
the party’s would challenge the decision of the court.
The party chairman explained that by the
judgment, no one would be sworn in as governor in Bayelsa state today.
