Nigerians appreciate Williams Uchemba as he moves a family from a slum to a new house he built for them (video/photos)
Williams Uchemba, Nigerian Nollywood actor, his philanthropist act has moved several people to tears after he moved out a wretched family from the slums to a new house he built for them.
Furthermore, the actor made this known through a video he shared on his Instagram page.
Williams had earlier explained in a previous post about how he went to a slum to distribute the Covid-19 relief package
and came across a family who were living in a shambles condition in the slum.
A slum is a squalid and overcrowded urban street or district inhabited by very poor people.
Also, according to Williams, what caught his attention was a little girl reading on the pavement and
When he asked her about where she lives, he was unhappy seeing the condition of the house.
As seen in the pictures and video shared, the little girl and her family which comprises of her sisters, Chiamaka, Chisom, and their mother, Mrs. Chukwudi lived in a “Batcher”,
A house made of wood and covered with old dilapidated zinc roof and pieces of cartons.
According to the family, their slum home gets flooded each time it rains.
William Uchemba moved with pity for the family, revealed he left the slum that day, and he promised himself he will retrieve them away from the place.
So on Thursday, May 21, 2020, Williams fulfilled the promise he made to himself
By moving the family to a new house he built for them.
The family couldn’t contain their joy as they kept thanking him and also prayed for him
Nigerians seeing the video took to his comment section to pray for him and appreciated him for the good work he did.
