The vice presidential candidate of the PDP, Peter Obi has given a speech on The Platform which decries the horrible state Nigeria has been plunged into.
The Platform, an event put together by Covenant Christian Centre, saw other speakers like Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and former CBN govenror, Charles Soludo, and many more mounting the podium to speak.
At the event which held on October 1, Nigeria’s independence day, Peter Obi said, “Every minute, six Nigerians fall into poverty.
“Nigeria is one of those countries where the per capital income has been falling. In security, we are now the tenth most insecure place to live in the world. Our underemployment and unemployment is one of the worst in the world.”
