Ighalo becomes the first Nigerian to sign for Manchester United

Social media is as of now flooded with updates on Odion Ighalo’s unexpected move to Manchester United.

The English football club late on Friday night agreed an arrangement with Shanghai Shenhua of China to sign Ighalo on a six months contract, making him the first Nigerian to formally play for the English club.

Ighalo, who was born in Ajegunle, who has played for Udinese and Watford will earn about £130,000 (N62m) every week at his new club for the a half year he will be at the club.

Ighalo will take the place of the injured Marcus Rashford in Manchester United’s line up.
