Governor El-Rufai shocked as sex for grades lecturer gets employed in Kaduna State University
Governor Nasir El-Rufai has called for an investigation into a claim that the Kaduna State University employed a lecture sacked for sex for grades at the Ahmadu Bello University.
The allegation was shared on Twitter by ENIGMA who wrote:
“A.B.U sacked A.B Umar because of sexforgrades…A school that’s 70k away employed him to keep sleeping and preying on little and vulnerable girls .
How can you employ an abuser under academic environment knowing his past record. Kaduna state university employ him. Sexforgrades”.
Reacting to the allegation, El-Rufai expressed shock as he revealed that he ordered for an investigation into the issue.
“SHOCKED!!: Thanks for drawing our attention to this. The Commssioner of Education and Attorney-General of Kaduna State will jointly commence investigation of this right away and take further action. Our Deputy Governor @DrHadiza will monitor to closure. @MuyiwaAdekeye @Dattijo”, he tweeted.
