FG directs all civil servants workers to go for Covid-19 test

THE federal government has encouraged all its workers in Abuja to go for the COVID-19 test.

Furthermore, the move is part of the game plan to reduce the spread of the virus, according to the Permanent Secretary,

Service Welfare Officer in the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Evelyn Ngige.

Ngige in a July 17, 2020 circular addressed to all federal permanent secretaries and entitled “Conduct of COVID-19 testing for civil servants”,

said the civil servants were free to avail themselves of the facilities at the ThisDay Dome, Abuja.

The circular reads:

“I am directed to inform you that the Federal Government has provided facilities for the conduct of Covid-19 tests

for civil servants at the ThisDay Dome, Mohammed Kur Avenue, by Nanet Suites,

Central Business District, Abuja (from 10 am to 4 pm daily) as part of efforts to curtail the spread of the disease.
