End SARS: Super Eagles players afraid of visiting Nigeria – Ndidi

Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi has said that foreign-based footballers fear visiting Nigeria over the alleged killings by suspected operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Ndidi made this claim in a tweet on Saturday.

The Super Eagles midfielder lamented that SARS has killed many Nigerian youths.

Ndidi wrote:

“End SARS for the safety of Nigerians.

We are scared to visit home because the people who protect us are killing us.

“Looking good with dreads is not a crime.”

Other national team stars like Leon Balogun, Shehu Abdulahi

and John Ogu had joined the call for disbandment of SARS.

In other news, Nigerian record producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy

has joined the mass protest against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

He confirmed it today, on Saturday via his official Instagram page.

The Mavin CEO posted a video of himself walking alongside other protesters.

Other celebrities like Timi Dakolo, Noble Igwe, VJ Ehiz from MTV Base were also there.
