Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy has reacted to the continued detention of Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC.
Sowore is being held by the Department for State Security, DSS, on charges of treasonable felony and cyberstalking of President Buhari and others.
He’s also being charged with attempt to overthrow the government over a Revolution Now protest he planned.
In reaction to the charges filed by the DSS in court against Sowore, Don Jazzy took to social media to plead on his behalf.
“This dangerous precedent of stifling opposition voices and dissenting opinions has survived enough. Let’s not pretend our nascent democracy isn’t being sabotaged when citizens shudder at the thought of people they elected into power. I plead for Sowore #FreeSowore”
