Crystal Palace vs Arsenal ended in 1-1 draw for Gunners as Mikel Arteta continued to show partial loads of promises on his new path at Emirates Stadium.Arsenal were the better side in the earlier moment of the encounter on Saturday, January 11, with Aubameyang sealing the lead for the visitors.A brilliant link-up play between Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Auba saw the Gabonese fire into the net after just 18 passes at Selhurst Park Stadium.

The game still continued with Palace’s defence giving Arsenal the toughest time. The hard show saw Nicolas Pepe booked in the 44th minute and Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the 51st minute.

Crystal Palace trailed behind Arsenal but the lead was truncated few minutes into the second half as Jordan Ayew balanced the score sheet for the hosts with a 54th minute equaliser.The Ghanaian international fired into the net after receiving a brilliant pass from fellow African star Cheikhou Kouyate.Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was shown a straight red card after malicious hard tackle on Meyer. It took the protest of Crystal Palace fans to force referee Paul Tierney consult VAR before the decision.

The Gabonese became the third Arsenal player to score and be sent off in the same Premier League match, and the first since Mikel Arteta vs Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in October 2013.With Arsenal reduced to ten men, the rough game saw James McCarthy James Tomkins booked in the 71st and 85th minute respectively. Alexandre Lacazette was also booked in the 90th minute as the game ended in stalemate with both side sharing the spoils.
