#Coronavirus: Federal government asked public servants from grade 12 and below to work from home
The Federal Government of Nigeria has told all public servants to stay at home and work to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
The directive released in a memo on Monday by Yemi Esan, Head of Civil Service.
It says all public servants across the country from level 12 and below should stay and work from home.
The ones that will remain at work should limit their visitors number.
“As you are no doubt aware, the Federal Government has taken a number of measures to manage the identified cases of COVID-19 and curtail its spread”,
Furthermore, the statement reads
“All public servants are, therefore, strongly advised to follow the measures
put in place by government to curtail the spread of the pandemic.
“As a further step to check the spread of COVID-19, all non-essential pubiic servants
on grade level 12 and below are to work from home with effect from Tuesday 24th March, 2020 until further notice.”
