Buhari declares the lifting of interstate lockdown
Following the submission of the report on the Covid-19 pandemic by the Presidential Task Force, PTF, the interstate lockdown has been lifted.
Furthermore, according to the President Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad,
the interstate lockdown and school lockdown have now been lifted.

In a series of tweets posted by the Ahmad,
“Based on the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 recommendations,
the Federal Government has lifted the interstate lockdown
with effect from July 1st, 2020. (movement only outside curfew hours)”
“President@MBuhari has approved the re-opening of schools
(only for students in graduating classes, that’s Primary 6, JSS3 and SSS3) to allow them to prepare for examinations.”
“NB: Permission of movement across state borders only outside curfew hours (curfew hours; 10 pm – 4 am)
with effect from July 1st, 2020 #PTFCOVID19″ he concluded.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians are now in a joyous mood because the cost of transportation
will be greatly reduced, and masses can now move at ease.
