BBNaija: Bimbo Odukoya’s daughter sends strong message to Nigerians
Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, daughter of late pastor Bimbo Odukoya, has sent a strong message to Nigerians concerning BBNaija.
In a post she shared on Twitter, Tolu wondered why so much financial energy is being spent on the show.
According to her, this ought not to be so especially when we have pressing issues demanding our attention.
”Can we raise money to build better hospitals or better roads, better schools? Pay teachers and doctors better? If the system has failed us must we fail ourselves.. 50million here 100 million there and millions of a Nigerians are suffering no hope! #BBNaija19”
In addition: “With all this #bbnaija2019 drama… I have been reading how people want to donate to Tacha, and I have absolutely no issue with that. What I have an issue with is US as Nigerians not thinking about ourselves, country, especially the future of our children.
So we can come together when it comes to Big Brother, but we can’t come together to make life better for ourselves? I am amazed… Millions of Nigerians are suffering can’t eat one meal a day, medical infrastructure ZERO… moderate(not top-notch) Education costs an Arm and Leg… When it comes to BBNAIJA, 2,000,000 people can come together and donate 100 naira each to raise 100 million, but when it comes to our everyday life, we are waiting for the system… Quick question what will 100 million do in your community if appropriately managed? #rant#bbnaija2019“
