Andy Ruiz apologizes for beating Anthony Joshua
Andy Ruiz has apologized for beating Anthony Joshua when both boxers faced-off back in July.
Andy Ruiz emerge the new holder of the IBF, WBA and WBO titles after defeating Anthony Joshua at the Madison Square Garden.
A second bout has been scheduled for Saudi Arabia on December 6 and dubbed Clash of the Dunes.
Speaking ahead of the bout, Andy Ruiz apologized to Anthony Joshua’s manager Eddie Hearn, saying:
“I just needed that right moment and the right chance to prove who Andy Ruiz really is.
“So thank you Eddie Hearn for giving me this opportunity and I’m sorry for beating Anthony Joshua.
“And that’s what we’re planning to do on December 7 again, so don’t get your hopes up because this chubby kid is training really hard,” he said.
