Squad Rosters For FIFA Women’s World Cup Verified, 736 Players To Represent 32 Nations


A total of 736 athletes will represent their respective countries in the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. 

With just nine days until the tournament begins, the complete squads for all 32 teams were unveiled and officially confirmed on FiFA.com on Tuesday. 

In the Southern Hemisphere, 736 of the world’s top female footballers will gather for the ninth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™, each with the aspiration of lifting the prestigious trophy at Stadium Australia in Sydney/Wangal on Sunday, 20 August.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ commences on Thursday, 20 July, with New Zealand going head-to-head with 1995 champions Norway at Eden Park in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau. 

On the same day, the action continues in Australia, as Australia takes on Republic of Ireland, who are making their Women’s World Cup debut, at Stadium Australia in Sydney/Wangal.

Nigeria’s Super Falcons, one of the competitors and a regular presence at the quadrennial global soccer event, will kick off their campaign against Canada in Melbourne on Friday, July 21.
