It is a time of joy for Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi who was in tears days ago, due to her significant financial loss.

The movie star had lost over N500,000 while attempting to carry out transactions from her bank.

Fortunately for her, her plea on social media worked wonders as the movie star retrieved her money.

Taking to Instagram to provide an update, Kemi expressed her appreciation to her fans and internet users for their support.

She stated that the influence of social media should not be underestimated as the support from her fans has produced positive outcomes.

Showing her affection for them, she wrote,

“GTB Fraud Unit ensured that the money I mistakenly transferred to their customer is returned to my account. Thank you all for helping me tag GTB.

On Monday, Kemi Afolabi appealed to Nigerians for help as she dealt with issues from her bank.

The movie star, who recently returned from Mecca, revealed that she inadvertently transferred the sum of N510,000 in April, to a customer’s account and they both use the same bank.

There has been a series of back and forth with her bank for the past three months, which has left her drained.

Seeking assistance, she begged her fans to come to her aid as she is tired and exhausted.

“I mistakenly transferred the sum of five hundred and ten thousand naira to a customer’s account! We both use the same bank. Since April 1st, 2023.

My dear fans, please come to my rescue.

I am honestly worn out!”.

In another post, Kemi Afolabi, who has become impatient and exhausted, called on her bank to take the necessary steps.

They held on to my five hundred and ten thousand nairas.

I have been patient, and now I am exhausted.
