Villarreal Slams 30 Million Euros Price-Tag On Chukwueze

Villarreal have disclosed their asking price to AC Milan, who are interested in acquiring the services of their winger, Samuel Chukwueze.

According to Milan News, an Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport, the Spanish club has demanded a payment of 30 million euros for the Nigerian national teamer.

As per the report, the Rossoneri have presented an initial offer of 25 million euros, but that may not be sufficient to secure Chukwueze’s signature.

This is not the first instance in which AC Milan has tried to lure a player away from Villarreal. Both clubs engaged in lengthy negotiations for Argentine defender Mateo Musacchio in 2017, who eventually transferred to the San Siro.

The 19-time Scudetto winners are striving to strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season and have designated Chukwueze as one of their priority targets.

The Italian giants view the Super Eagles star as a player who could assist them in mounting a title challenge next season, given his outstanding performance for Villarreal in the 2022-2023 campaign, producing 24 goal involvements.

Chukwueze, the winner of the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup, is currently in the final year of his contract with the Yellow Submarine, and the club is prepared to cash in on him.
